It is based on inductive reasoning. This course is built upon the statistics concepts, principles and techniques that are useful in business management. It includes the teaching of sampling theory, research process, types of data and data collection methods, variables and their measurement scales, data analysis, sets and probability concepts, probability laws, probability distributions and statistical tests etc. This semester syllabus will be restricted to the test of chi square test, z test, t test and analysis of variance. Students should learn about the Descriptive analysis, correlation and regression analayis and use of SPSS in this course. Student should learn hypothsis formulation and testing process.
